DBL required an advanced time & attendance system that could enhance their efficiency of work. Here are their major requirements:
Before the deployment of ZKTeco’s solution, DBL was already using a fingerprint verification system for their employees’ time & attendance operation. But due to their nature of work, they workers normally have rough fingers. Of course one can hardly lose their fingerprints because they are not only visually seen, but also naturally grown under finger skin, however conventional fingerprint sensing technology only scan and capture surface of finger, thus causing difficulty in scanning fingerprints that are worn off. Having enjoyed the convenience of fingerprint verification method, our client wished to remain biometric attendance, thus they required us to provide an advanced fingerprint verification technology, which could truly perform verification precisely according to their need.
DBL has their own payroll system, they managed their payroll relying on this system according to the attendance reports generated by their previous time & attendance software. However, as the formats of the attendance reports generated by the system did not correspond to the formats of their payroll system, it resulted in difficulty in inputting and combining data and increased administration staffs’ workload. Thus, a customization is critical to enhance their time & attendance and salary system efficiency.

Technical Features:
• The different sites of DBL are deployed with ZKTeco’s G3 Hybrid-biometric Verification Standalone Terminal.
• All staffs’ personal information and fingerprint data are pre-registered in the Terminals.
• All staffs on duty are required to scan their fingerprints when entering their workplaces. Their attendance are taken after successful verification of their fingerprints.
• Fingerprints are precisely verified as the G3 Terminals are equipped with ZKTeco’s SilkID Fingerprint Sensing technology, not only capturing the surface of fingerprint but also the vein under the skin though cutting edge infrared technology.
• All the Terminals are connected to the central server and managed by the ZKTeco Biotime 7.0 Time & Attendance Software. All attendance reports are customized to fit into DBL’s payroll system, thus all the attendance data can be directly input and no more unnecessary data entry is required.
Function Description:
• G3 is a multi-biometric identification terminal which features ZKTeco’s innovation Silk ID fingerprint sensor technology. With the world’s cutting-edge 3D Neuron Fingerprint Algorithm, it precisely authenticates dry, wet, or rough fingerprints efficiently and accurately.
• Infrared technology enables the device to function automatically when fingerprints are detected.
• With the latest facial algorithm it also supports fake face detection.
• BioTime 7.0 is a powerful web-based time attendance software which offers the most innovative features a time attendance software can offer. It provides a stable communication for devices through LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/GPRS/3G. Users can access the software anywhere by their web browser to remotely manage thousands of T&A terminals under complex network (WLAN).
• The software features a simple access control module that can connect to ZKTeco standalone access control terminals. Another outstanding feature is the payroll module that calculates employees’ wages according to their workloads and can generate WPS report easily.
• An Automatic Synchronization function is available to automatically synchronize data between device and server among the same “Area.” With its new user-friendly UI, managing timetable, shifting schedule, and generating attendance report have become easily managed.
