Ellington, founded in 2014, aims to make comfortable environments for exceptionally high-quality lifestyles and develop architecturally compelling residences that consistently transcend fashions and trends. Ellington’s current projects include high-rise luxury residences and multi-family communities located in the most prestigious places in Dubai, U.A.E. One of their project now is the Belgravia with more than 200 modern bedroom units landscaped in 100,000 sq. ft. of land which looking for a reliable access control solution.

Client Requirements

Access Control

Belgravia is considered as a high-luxury residence which requires a reliable security system. Registration and access is given to the residents and security personnel only. More than 1,500 residents are needed to be enrolled and grant access to the building. The client needs a solution with access control and visitor management integrated in one software that is fully compatible with the access control terminals.

Visitor Management

The client required a visitor management solution to cater visitors who are coming to the building. They need to register and record visitors easily just by using residence ID, passport, etc.

Complete Security Management Platform

The client needs a solution with access control and visitor management both in one software that is fully compatible with the access control terminals.

Software Integration

The client integrated their own fire alarm system to ZKBioSecurity software. In case of fire, all of the main entrances will be automatically opened.

Technical Features

• InBio Pro Series access control panel is a project oriented high-end product line that belongs to ZKTeco's Green Label Series with unique features such as embedded fingerprint verification and advanced access control functions, which can be managed by TCP/IP communication thru LAN or WAN networks.

• In combination with FR1200 fingerprint reader, the panels can authenticate users under multiple verification modes such as fingerprint, card, and password in a higher security level. Residents registered their fingerprints and RFID cards in order to enter/access the building. There are three main entrances in ground floor, three lift lobby/fire exit in

the basement, and three corridor entrances from the basement parking - all deployed with FR1200 fingerprint reader outside and exit button inside the building.

• The inBio Pro is a perfect match for ZKBioSecurity 3.0 web-based software which provides a complete biometric security solution. The client can monitor the entry of every residents in real time. ZKBioSecurity software comes with a visitor management module that whenever a visitor comes, the security or person-in-charge can easily register the person using his/her Emirates ID (optional: residence card, passport, etc.). Visitor then will be given an access card to enter the building and can claim back his/her ID upon returning the access card. The records will be still available when revisit.

• The solution was integrated with the fire alarm system of the building, then in case of fire, all entrances will be automatically opened.
