Project Requirements

The CCL management realized that the lack of security measures in the manufacturing facilities could lead to security loopholes and unauthorized access of products and equipment. Furthermore, the HR department noticed that some of the employees were irregular and involved in attendance forging activities. When, the CCL officials approached ZKTeco, they had the following requirements, a powerful security solution to prevent unauthorised access of organizational premises, employee time attendance solution as well as centralized software for convenient attendance management.

Solution:

After a comprehensive discussion with the CCL management, ZKTeco technical experts had a filed visit to the CCL manufacturing facility and based on the analysis along with the client requirements, we have offered TS2000 Series based Tripod Turnstile Barriers and Sface900 based Biometric Terminals along with easy TimePro software solution. We also suggested that the entrance control system and the biometric terminals could be integrated to work together. As per the suggestion, each turnstile barrier was incorporated with two biometric terminals, one for check in operation and another one for check out operation. Furthermore, the biometric terminals were enclosed with metallic cases to prevent the device from being damaged.

After the installation, fingerprints of the employees were registered with the biometric system along with their respective details. Henceforth, employees need to scan their fingerprint in order to register their attendance as well as to gain access inside or outside, which would ensure that only authorised members are entering into the enterprise.
