Challenge

Securitas company had hundreds of visitors on a daily basis along with regular employees. Hence, Securitas administration found difficulty in monitoring the visitors as well as employees who were entering inside the organization. In addition, they had safety concerns in case of events such as geopolitical issues, unauthorized entry of criminals, etc. They also wanted the entrance control system to be elegant in design to match with the company interior.

Solution :

To fulfill the clients requirement, we have offered FBL2000 and FBL2200 based flap barriers with RFID card authentication. Hence, employees or visitors could easily enter the organization by simply displaying the card over the flap barriers without any help from security operators. On the other hand, people without smart card access would not be able to enter inside. However, visitors upon request can get smart card to gain access inside. FBL2200 flap barriers were installed between the FBL2000 barriers to form multiple lanes offering cost-effective entrance control system designed for high-traffic volume. The barriers are normally held in a locked position, thus denying access to the secured side. Upon successful RFID authentication the arms of the barrier move sideward thus allowing users to the secured side. During emergencies the barriers automatically retract upward, thereby ensuring users unencumbered and rapid exit to safety.
