The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (MoFA), commonly referred to as the Foreign Affairs Ministry (Indonesian: Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia abbreviated "Kemlu"), is a government ministry responsible for the country's foreign politics and diplomacy. The ministry was formerly known as the Department of Foreign Affairs (Departemen Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia, better known as Deplu). The name changed due to the new law about State Ministry of 2008 (UU 39/2008).

Access Control Solution

As a government organization, the need of extra security is a must. The client requires to control all access in each doors of the main office in order to monitor those who access the rooms especially the restricted ones. They require an access control software to connect and control all the access control terminals that will be installed.

Time and Attendance Solution

Aside from the need of controlling the access, the client also requires a time attendance terminal to monitor and record the attendance logs of all the employees.

Technical Features

• A total of 36 units of Facedepot 7BL Plus and 38 units speedface h5mifare time attendance and access control terminal have been deployed in a different area of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia building.

• 18 units of ZKTeco sbtl 5000 have been deployed at the entrance of the building.

• Speedface h5mifare have been deployed on each floor of foreign affairs of the republic of Indonesia building.

• All staffs are registered with their personal information, face images and other details. They are required to either scan their faces verification. Only upon successful verification are they allowed to have access to the building.

• ZKBioSecurity software were installed in client administrator PC to control all access terminals and give access to authorized personnel.

Function Description

• Speedface h5mifare is Visible Light Facial Recognition with Computer Vision built-in. 3-in-1 verification with Fingerprint, RFID and Facial Recognition.

• The recognition distance has been greatly extended to 3 meters, which significantly improves maximum traffic rate. While most of algorithms only support 15-degree of angle tolerance for facial recognition, ZKTecosupports 30-degree of angle tolerance.

• Facedepot 7BL is Visible light facial recognition, and palm recognition. Anti-spoofing algorithm against print attack (laser, color and B/W photos), video attack and 3D mask attack. Multiple verification methods: Face / Palm / Fingerprint / Card / Password.

• The recognition distance has been greatly extended to 2 meters, which signi¬cantly improves the maximum tra c rate. While most of the algorithms only support +/-15° of detectable face angle, FaceDepot-7BL doubles the detection angle in terms of head rotation and tilt to +/- 30°.

• Touchless palm authentication method with a novel hand tracking technique allowing angle tolerance as wide as +/-60° in the roll axis and a recognition distance of 50cm.
