Orange Line is an automated rapid transit system in Lahore, Pakistan. The line is Pakistan's first metro train. The line is served by 26 stations and is expected to handle 250,000 passenger daily. It is a part of the wider CPEC China Pakistan Economic Corridor. ZKTeco as a leading biometric manufacturer and supplier has an opportunity to successfully deliver attendance management products for this mega project.
In order to ensure attendance accuracy and prevent fake punch-in or out, the conventional card punching has to be replaced as it does not satisfy the needs due to that it is not capable to verify if the card holder is the authentic person the card belongs to, yet a time & attendance system that truly verifies and authenticates the persons punching in or out does. After having a deeper understanding of different time & attendance methods, our client required a hybrid biometric verification time & attendance system with face recognition function while maintaining card verification for flexibility.
Our client also required that they would be able to centrally the monitor the entire entrance control operation of all employees in the entire site, and all access logs are able to be reviewed anytime with generation of attendance reports.
