Our client is a state-owned bank which is one of the largest bank since 2012 according to the Bankscope database measured by total assets in USD, and is ranked 115th according to a report on the "Top 1000 World Banks in 2004" published by The Banker magazine. It had moved up 26 places from its previous ranking of 141.

The project involves more than 180 departments including the data center and network center and more than 4300 users. Over 680 doors of five buildings distributed in two cities need to be managed.

Client Requirements

Precise Biometric Verification Method

An extra-large scale financial enterprise as our client is, high confidentiality is crucial. Any unnecessary intervention shall be abandoned. Thus, a precise authentication of identity shall be applied. An accurate biometric verification method of identity is required, and fingerprint is used as the access permits. It also requires tight monitoring of different access points that one server can manage access control systems of different branches in multiple cities, and access records can be monitored in real time.

Multi-Permission Access Setting

The project involves more than 180 departments including the data center and network center and more than 4300 users. Over 680 doors of five buildings distributed in two cities need to be managed. Thus, a system which allows multi-permission setting of access is required. Also, prompt notifications to inform relevant department leader is also needed, thus it requires a system that is capable to automatically deliver personnel access records by department to relevant leaders.
