In this case, each employee is assigned an ID card initially, which contained limited access right. Since employees pass through the main entrance every morning, the ID card will be activated, the access right for the entire 80 doors in the building will be granted. Employees can access to each door by swiping ID card or swiping ID card plus password. As per the specific security concern, all the ID card access rights will be eliminated, once the employee leave the building.
Additionally, within the datacenter, several floors have equipped with “inert gas fire extinguishing system” for protection of life and property. Furthermore, mantraps system, 3D video analytics anti-tailgating system and people counting systems have been deployed in these area, to provide a comprehensive security solution. (The people counting data is used for emergency evacuation scenarios)
In order to advance and complete the solution, the “global anti passback system” will be embedded to the solution in early next year, once the final integration process for our latest access control software (ZKAccess 6.0) has completed.
The mantraps system and “3D video analytics anti-tailgating system” are manipulated by using a mixture of both offline and online functions of the inBIO460 panels and additional PLC controllers.
All detected alarms, faults and events of the access controls system will communicate with Umbrella-System and HVAC System via OPC-UA (OLE for process control Unified Architecture) that integrates all security system under one comprehensive UI. (Intruder detection, fire detection, access control, video surveillance, intercommunication system, etc.)
