Project Description

Central de Abastos Monterrey is a complex with multiple vendors and products with on-site parking located in Monterrey. Traffic is very busy from 6 a.m. – 5p.m. every day. Thus the Automatic Number plate verification system with the LPR camera and parking barrier and ZKBiosecurity software (integrated with POS machine) are installed as the solution to meet smart vehicle management requirements. When a customer gets into the market, the barrier will open the gate after recognize the license plate number automatically. After the customer finishes shopping and exits, another LPR will calculate how many hours the car has spent in the market and will show the charge on the LED customer display and the POS machine. It reduces management costs and improves flow efficiency by using this smart charging System.

Replacing Traditional Manual Charge

They replaced paper automatic charge to our system to consume less paper, and have a trust supplier, they bought some device in the past and does not get local Technical Support and after few years they do not get any kind of support or answer or maintenance, and paper device need maintenance 3 times a week with the cars flow they have.

Integration With POS Machine

ZKBiosecurity software needs to integrate with some drives to make it perfectly compatible and running smoothly in the POS machine. With this system, the license plate recognition data stream is directly processed on the ZKBiosecurity platform on the POS machine, which is efficient and fast. And ZKAIO2030 comes with a printer and customer display, which can quickly print small receipts and clearly display customer consumption information ZKAIO2030 is an all-in-one touch POS machine. Its compact body does not take up space. It is sensitive and convenient to touch. It does not require an external mouse and keyboard. The cash drawer and POS are directly linked.

Implementation Solution

Solution Design

23 ZKTeco LPRS1000 Machines (License plate recognition) were installed in the entrance and exit. And ZKAIO2000(integrated with ZKBiosecurity) products were in guard booth. LPR will recognize the license plate number and will automatic open the gate for customer or VIP user in entrance gate and the record and one capture picture will be save at server. After customer’s finish shopping and go exit, LPR will recognize the car number and will check from the database to automatic calculate how long have this car parked and how much should pay. Car entrance /exit record and charge Report will generate at the same time. Manager can easily check the report to know every charge details.

Besides, to improve frequent customer satisfaction we develop a prepaid module, so customer who went many times to Market can pre pay money and deduct each entry and exit without stop in the exit.

Also they improve trailer delivery and box trailer charge, they have 24 hours free parking time to deliver products, after that time the day charge is dierent than car fees so we improve the way they handle trailers too.

efficient.
